This is my 3rd year on the Board of Directors. I’m also on the building and membership committees.
What radios do you use?
Mobile: Icom 880h
HF: Icom IC-7300 and Elecraft K3
HT: Icom IC-91AD and Anyton 878uv+
What was your first radio?
Baofeng UV-5R was my first VHF/UHF radio and my first HF radio was a Yaesu FT-1000MP
Antennas in use?
- W1SFR end-fed dipole for 6m – 40 m in the attic connected to the IC-7300 for digital
- Fan dipole for 20m-10m-6m in the attic for SSB voice
- Arrow Open Stub J-Pole for 2m/70cm
Where are some places that you operate?
At home, mobile, and QRP in the park and outside on my backyard patio
When logging QSOs, which software do you use?
I like QRZ, LoTW, Ham Radio Deluxe and N1MM+
What are some of your favorite ham radio activities?
Contesting, DX, antenna building, and working with the VEC.
What are some other non-ham radio hobbies or activities of yours?
Flying RC planes, golf, and fishing
What’s your profession?
Retired for Delta Air Lines after 34 years

D-Star Reflector 001C, Brandmeister DMR Talkgroup 91, HF on 20 meters on SSB, FT8, and PSK31.
