Launching this week is a blog series dedicated to letting the club and the community get to know the club’s Board of Directors.

This week’s “Get to Know” series spotlight is on Doug Eiserloh, WF5O, JARC President.

What are your aspirations for the club this year?

Make the club a better place to practice our hobby.  Over the past few years, many things that will be beneficial to the club have been placed on the “to-do list”.  COVID-19, along with other issues, has not allowed those things to be done.  My goal is to take one or two things at a time and see them through to completion.  This has worked well with the adoption of the updated bylaws, repair of the 444.000 MHz repeater, and the placement of new VHF/UHF antennas on the club’s tower.  With each completion, the club improves its ability to help the community and support the members in their amateur radio endeavors.
