Amateur Radio is About Community Locally and Worldwide

No matter where you are in the world, if you are a ham radio operator, there are more than two million other people out there who share your passion and who you make contact with one day. These connections can be quick – in the case of contests where the goal is to make the highest number of contacts. Or they can involve extended conversations where you can learn more about radio equipment and, even more fascinating, about the lives and cultures of others.

Jefferson ARC invites you to join the local community of our club, and the global community of amateur operators worldwide. Along with camaraderie, organizations like ours provide the resources you need to get the most out of this exciting hobby. For instance, members and non-members alike have access to many different types of services like repeaters and gateways.
