The Jefferson Amateur Radio Club is scheduling a Simplex Road Trip to an Incredible Louisiana Restaurant That’s Way Out in the Boonies, but So Worth the Drive on Sunday, November 5, 2017. We are calling it a Simplex Road Trip because we plan to communicate mobile-to-mobile during the trip using a VHF simplex frequency. Be sure to bring a VHF radio with you so that you can check into the JARC VHF “Net on Wheels”.
For those of you interested in traveling as a group we will meet at the JARC clubhouse and leave promptly at 10:45 am when we will begin our carpool and caravan. If however, you prefer meeting the rest of the group at the restaurant please plan to be there at 11:30 am. Everyone is welcome to bring your family and friends.
If you are interested in making the trip and to find out where we are going please contact Liz, KG5ONB at LK27@cox.net for more information by Friday, November 3rd to register and to provide a head count so that a table can be setup for the group.
It will be Foodielicious!!
