The Jefferson Amateur Radio Club participated in the Solar Eclipse QSO party on Monday, August 21, 2017 and logged over 300 contacts reporting on signal strength in the logs that were submitted to HamSCI, the Ham Radio Science Citizen Investigation Project. HamSCI was started by ham-scientists who study upper atmospheric and space physics from propagation data reported on by a network of participating Ham operators.
