At the March 2016 General Meeting, Dr. Ken Nollet, K0EN, JO7XVL who lives and works in Fukushima, Japan gave a presentation on “An Amateur’s Perspective on Japan’s 3.11 Earthquake, Tsunami, and Nuclear Crisis”. The JARC reciprocated by showing Dr. Nollet a short video clip on “Hurricane Katrina – Unsung (HAM Operator) Heros” which was appended with photos of the destruction to the JARC clubhouse and surrounding city areas, produced by Albert, W5AFD.
Dr. Ken Nollet presented JARC President Jim Marra, N5HZ with a book on “Fukushima -Lives on the Line”.
