The Jefferson Amateur Radio Club, W5GAD, wants to acknowledge the individuals who either obtained a new ham radio license or upgraded their operating privileges. The JARC conducted their monthly test sessions this past Saturday morning and Sundayafternoon.

The following individuals passed the Technician Class Examination: Michael Bates, KG5IVA; Edward Muhleisen, KG5IVB; Robert Riddick, KG5IVC; and Robert Turner, KG5IVD. The following hams upgraded to Extra Class: Jeffery Serpas, AG5AD; and Mitch Singley, AG5AE.

As with all JARC licensees, their Call Signs were listed in the FCC ULS the first business day after they passed their examinations…actually listed online before 9:00 am! One of the advantages of testing with an established VE Group, 1 of 14 such groups in the country.

Let’s look for these hams on the air and congratulate them on their accomplishments!
